Defenition
Open Points are things that can not be filled in by the (current) editor of the wikipage but needs an expert to answer. When the open point is answered it should be removed from the wikipage (better said the answer should be clarified either on the wikipage or (viewable via a link) on a faq-page. (See also the description for Category:Category:Open Points)
Open Point-template
The Open Point-template shows the following visual cue to the users and identifies a page as being a Open Point:

How to create an Open Point
A Stub is created using the following text in (preferably on top of) a page:
{{OpenPoint|your text here}}
Adding this to the page als automatically invokes the {{OpenPoint}} template.
